![]() There is a very easy way to route enemies on that map, you are just not managing to for whatever reason. #ORCS MUST DIE 3 COLOSSEUM HOW TO#Thats a very different story, its like laiming the crossbow cant snipe just because you dont know how to aim. You said you pretty much haveto defend the rift on that map then later you admit that you just dont know how to defend baracks. I dont know what you think, but if you dont mean what you post thhen what point is there in taking what you write seriously? Lol yea I started out asuming you meant what you posted. It's humorous to me that you're arguing my post like you're authoritative on my opinion. That is one of the reasons why I don't like the map (of two), and not my point (my point was the maps are not fun on Rift Lord). Originally posted by greentiger:The Colosseum would be at least interesting if you could use other parts of the level, but half the map is unused because of the staircase that leads to the basement. "You pretty much have to defend at the Rift."Īs we have discussed that is incorrect, you just dont like or know how to use traps and barricades so that you dont haveto defend the rift. The fire lords will also attack barricades. I have also used arcane brimstone in the basement to take care of the firelings, and grinders, and the acid sprayers. I have seen them do it when there's plenty of space for mobs to walk by them. ![]() You're arguing a point I didn't make.Īlso, I have recording of gnolls attacking barricades. No my original point is that it's not fun-not that barricades are hard to keep alive on that map. You dont have to just defend the rift but you personally prefer doing it that way over using barricades because you dont know how to set up barricades+defences in a way that doesnt get the barricades blown up. Its very much doable, I have no troubles keeping barricades alive on that map.Īnyway you are now conceding the original point. You dont haveto just defend the rift but you personally prefer doing it that way over using barricades because you dont know how to set up barricades+defences in a way that doesnt get the barricades blown up. Gnolls run at you regardless of barricades just shoot them in the head, use some kind of stun if you need more time to deal with them.Īnyway you are now conceding the original point. That map is designed to just frustrate and it could've been such an epic level-but half of it's unused due to the placement of that one staircase.įierlings are easily disposed of by having some traps in the basement. ![]() I have seen (and even recorded), gnoll hunters running to me, stopping just short of me, and then attacking barricades they cross when I'm waiting at the rift for them. lacking.Īs far as Colosseum, yes I know you can reroute them with barricades but you're constantly micro managing barricades as firelings, the big fire fiends (forget their names), and even gnoll hunters will destroy them. The Basement is a very simple level, it would probably be more fun as a 2nd or 3rd map with weaker mobs. (by the way you can quite easily route the cellar mobs out into the courtyard instead of just right to the rift. Originally posted by morrganstain:I think you actually love those maps. ![]()
